The real Donald has spoken:-

European Council President Donald Tusk has said there is a "special place in hell" for "those who promoted Brexit without even a sketch of a plan of how to carry it out safely"

Don't get the strategy here ahead of a compromise seeking negotiation. Think he has dropped a bollock here.

He's not the one who orchestrated the whole mess, though.  He has a right to say what he wants and although it looks like he's lashing out I'd say he chose his words carefully.

He has every right to say what he wants. He could call May a slag if he wanted but in terms of negotiation in makes no sense.

My position on the EU is very similar to  Corbyn. Although I put in on record I think it's better we pull out. Corbyn meanwhile is understandably  playing the tightrope act.

You'd rate the EU as 7 or 7.5 out of 10 and campaign for the UK to remain?

You'd be right if most labour heartlands hadn't voted out so unfortunately for you you're wrong.

Haha, fish in a barrel, Gnash

Here's me thinking Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Scotland etc all voted Remain as did 70% of all Labour members so, as ever and to nobody's surprise, it's you who is wrong

In what way? He knows the EU can't drop the backstop. He knows may will say "plan a without the backdrop" because that's what the erg and dup have told her to do. There is no negotiation, he just needs to send her back home as quickly as possible with the message don't come back until you've actually something of value to offer and if you've nothing else to say, see you on the other side of the biggest fuck up of all time.

These are extraordinary times.  No deal is batshit, he's only pointing it out.

He's inviting the Tories to blame the EU for their failures . It's crystal clear all May cares about is keeping her party together. Tusk has dropped a bollock

And it's clear to tusk too. So what does he have to lose? Wait and pretend to listen or tell her to fuck off before she arrives? Better to send her back with her tail between her legs and stop this can kicking shit.

EU dont want a no deal anymore than most sensible people do. The EU could alter the political deceleration in the spirit of friendship and cooperation, even if it means fuck all. May would then go home looking stupid. Now it will be painted as the evil EU and the right will be happy to tell them to get to fuck. Poor negotiating skills. Even if you think it you don't say it.

Tusk clearly knows what he was saying. He knowingly laughed it off when the mic picked up Varadkar saying the English press will have a field day.

Time to start stock piling essentials because the EU know May will take us to a no deal rather than upset the ERG and the extremists she's paid for.
