Well, May's tactic of reaching out for talks lasted all of 5 minutes.

The Lib Dems have echoed Corbyn's message that constructive talks can only take place if a no deal Brexit is removed from the equation. The SNP have gone further and have said they'll only want to enter into talks if Art. 50 is extended and a people's vote is granted.

Gove seems to me like the kind of guy who is self loathing. The kind of guy who in an opressive regime would be in charge of the cruelest agency and would deal out torture with relish.  Never met him like,  just looks a cunt.

Surprisingly, he’s not. And I say that as a avowed critic of the Tories. When he was Secretary of State for Justice he was actually fairly decent. He reversed a lot of the damage Grayling had wrought.

I'd like to apologise to Sugar Ape for chatting shit about Corbyn. We're at the stage now where the worst Tory party in history would still win an election today because the opposition is so weak.

If that's the case it sums up the cuntery of the electorate in this cuntry.

Yeah get rid of Corbyn, put some cunt like Umunna in charge of Labour and be left with Hobson's fucking choice again, and watch the Labour membership leave in droves!

I've got serious doubts about the greens for the first time but I wouldn't go back to Labour in a million years with so many back stabbing Blairite Neo-Tories infesting the upper echelons.

They're posturing and have no doubt some discussions will take place. Informally to begin with because there is no other way forward for all concerned.

What about when he was in Education and absolutely routed state schools?

I was replying to a specific post relating to him being some sort of Nazi torture merchant relating to justice. Which he isn’t.

I’d agree he was shit at Education,

Bit of a problem with the DUP though...

@Peston: Confirmed: @theresa_may would have lost confidence vote if DUP had voted with the opposition. DUP has the power of life and death over her. Which means that if she wants to remain PM, she has to persuade EU27 leaders to drop or time-limit the backstop
