BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg says even if Theresa May's deal is defeated, the prime minister could cling on.

"In other times a prime minister facing a defeat on their main reason for being, their central policy - they would be out the door," she says.

"But Brexit ripped up the rule book long ago."

Bullshit, the prime minister ripped up the rulebook.  Repeatedly ignored the abject inadequacy around this whole project and the country is going to have to pay the price.

And the political editors out there have enabled her every step of the way.  It's pathetic.

Ah they just popped something up about Northern Ireland back stop. It’s incredible - never seen anything like this. When is the vote about whether we are actually going ahead with Brexit deal that she has proposed?

I’ve been off having a wicked shite, which is an appropriate metaphor for this clusterfuck, but I think the results are coming in fairly soon mate

She was never going to resign. She has a pathological need to hang in there. I think she has nothing else in her life apart from this.

EDIT: Can’t see any of her own MPs or the DUP supporting the no confidence motion either. I suspect Hoey et al will support her as well.
