I was listening to a bit of Spencer Davis Group yesterday, and then this morning while out shopping they had a bit of Lenny Kravitz on the radio. Might just be me but I reckon you could swap the vocals around on the former's "I'm A Man" and the latter's "Are You Gonna Go My Way?" and both would still somehow work. That they are sung in the same key surely helps.

Ben and Meret used to holiday over here in the 90's and I got to know them quite well. Really nice people. She was beautiful back then.

My brother spent a year over in Germany working after that and stayed at theirs for a few months.  One time the phone rang and Otto told him to answer it. It was the Edge!  It was around the time they filmed that video. Seán Connery used to call up regularly as well. Surreal.

His “Hurricane Elaine” sounds exactly like Icicle Works “Assumed Sundown” also “Medicated Emma” is Queens “Hammer to fall”. Great artist though, horribly underrated and deserved far more success than he achieved, he’s quite bitter about it and I can’t say I blame him.
