How much have we pissed away over the last five years? We must be close to being the most wasteful club in Europe?

It's all very well pointing out 5th place is par given our financial position but we've really not helped ourselves. There are literally ten's of millions that could have been spent on better players and more competitive wages either out of the door or still in the club.

I'll bet my last dollar that we won't play 2 up top in any starting line-up this season. We will be left exposed at the back if that was to happen and that just doesn't fit in with Rodgers's plan to keep himself in employment.

Are you going to fuck off when he actually does or are you just going to come up with some excuse and start whinging about something else?

If you honestly think he's worried that us getting beat in one game after playing 2 up front is going to get him sacked why is he taking risks like playing Gomez and Rossiter you fuvking crank?

If Rodgers has proven one thing in his tenure here it's that he's not afraid of a formation or tactics. He's not a 1 trick pony stuck in playing one way as he's proven AGAINst the start of this season. Now the latest stick to beat him with is that he's gone negative because he's scared he will lose his job. You couldn't write this shit. Absolute brainless cunt.

Its been on the cards since there was talk of him going back to benfica at the start of the summer.

if rodgers wants him back then why not loan him to a premier league club?

Could be after someone from fener in the long term I suppose and this is an early sweetener.

You'd imagine he'll play regularly in Turkey, in his preferred position and have a striker in front of him who has more power than a bag of marshmallows when he shoots.

Hopefully he can have a great season on loan and show that he's worth a place at Liverpool.

And what an absolute cunt he is for trying to get good results so that he keeps his job.

Markovic has technical ability in spades but so far, he's been so ridiculously tentative and lacking in confidence that the 'new Messi' comparisons he had in his early career are in danger of giving way to 'new Downing' comparisons. He has barely been played in what would be his optimal position but more often than not, he's played with a lack of intensity that made him a peripheral figure in too many games.

Seldom do season-long loans result in a renewed or regained intensity and focus by the player and an improved and usable asset for the parent club the following year. If we have no use for him this season, it's unlikely we will have a use for him in seasons to come.

Given Ibe's less than stellar start to the season Markovic should probably get a run out,

but to be fair to Rodgers we have no idea how Markovic is looking in training, The lad may be completely stale and showing nothing.  Chances are we have wasted our money on this kid but I suppose there's still a small chance he will step up.

Part of a disastrous recent past in the transfer market.

This summer looks better. Is that because Brendan is getting better, or because if you buy enough players, some are bound to work out?

probably because this year we ve bought what we needed

At least if he has a decent season in Turkey, there's more chance someone will pay actual money for him in 2016 than there is that Milan will buy Balotelli with a year's contract left.

He could score 30 goals next season and they'll just send us a pair of our girlfriend's knickers in the post, with a red rose and a piece of card saying "It's just business, tesoro", before signing him on another loan in the last week of August.

We're not going to sell any of the players we want to get rid off. Just loan them out, pay most of their wages until their contracts run out. And these players cost a fair bit but we're not getting a fraction of the money back that we spent on them. Shocking transfer strategy from the "committee". If we get £20M for Markovic, Balotelli and Borini combined I'd be shocked.
