It's not true, he spoke at an open press event and the rag, as it loves to do with people associated with LFC, picked up the quotes and sold it as a "Rodgers speaks with the S*n" story.

Wow even for TLW the last two pages are bad, Rodgers apparently got someone to photograph him proposing for publicity and on the day he's said he'll attended the Hillsbourough memorial and said he still loves the club and what it stands for the only thing said is he supposedly gave an interview to that paper.

 

I didn't even have to check anywhere when I saw a fan ask that on Twitter, any LFC fan should know Rodgers is not the kind of man who would do that and it has been proven they knicked an interview he did with someone else.

 

And wtf would he get someone to take a picture on their phone of him proposing so they could put it on Twitter, no ones ever heard of people proposing at these famous landmarks no?If he wanted the publicity he would have done something with hello magazine or something and made a few hundred grand atleast.Its sad to see the lack of respect this man gets when he gave us some of the best football we have seen in the prem and he's never said a bad word about the club or fans.
