James Milner; £165,000 P/W

Recommended Posts

The worrying thing is, we've decided to spend that much on him and now we are going to play him in a spot he hardly ever played for City (apparently; correct me if I'm wrong). But it's typical of us; by a certain player who impresses in a certain role, and then employ him in a totally different one because of course, why not?

It's the most Liverpool trait there is, we consistently play players out of position, it's not a Rodgers thing either it's been going on for years.

Patrik Berger on the bench and right footed Leonhardsen on the left wing will be being debated by schollars well into the 31st Century.

That propaganda piece by Bascombe is laughable.

"Shit guys, if Rodgers had gone we might not have landed Milner. Thank fuck Brendan is staying, now we can look forward to Milner at wing-back in the new season."

Fuck off.

I do like Milner as a player but with our deficiencies at present I dont see him making much difference. I have always rated him as a wide player but we dont really play with 'winger' types. Most importantly I reckon I have no confidence in our current manager to use him to his strengths.

Right wing back anyone?

I hope he rubs off on some of the younger players, and soon they will be up and coming.

I bet he's got a huge penis and balls, both of which (or, all three) are very, very clean.

RE: his cock

One would surmise it's thick, almost pregnant with very hot fibrous 'cock muscles', and I mean hot. Should his penis be fully erect at any time then you would be able to fry a small egg on the top side of his bell-end.

Thanks Alan.

What's Milner's pointing ability like?

I wouldn't like to see Henderson's role as designated team pointer get usurped.

It's a sharp jabbing motion, with an insistent rhythm. A big contrast to Henderson's more fluid, less defined pointing, so we now have options in that role going forward.

Hes replacing gerrard as our new old AM being played as a DM isnt he?

Dont get a specialist dm, save money by just buying an ageing AM who can tackle and abandon his post in excitement anytime we have the ball.

Ive decided to just learn to enjoy painful hammerings each week and look forward to the optimistic thought contortionist exhibitions on here and sentences like 'theres no way rodgers could have predicted the ball being inflated with air or that other teams would attack us its totally unforseen foreskin mitigating circumcisions thats causing us to fail miserably.'

Henderson edges it on staring meanly though

Mate in work is a city fan and really rates Milner, but reckons he likes playing in the middle which he suspects has probably been a condition of his move, but reckons he's not very good there.

I've heard this too. The thing is, it's hard to judge a City fan's opinion of who's good centrally as it's likely coloured somewhat by having seen two of the league's finest there in recent years. Our barometer is whether he could displace one of Allen, Lucas or Henderson.

Personally,I'd say ''no to one and possibly to one other.

I'd even say that Henderson is not that bad as wing back either.

Milner is simply in the mix with the three you've mentioned and isnt sufficiently better,in my opinion,to warrant the stupid wages being quoted. Its not Yaya we are signing is it?
