Nice to see Milner and a lot of the others congratulating Ojo - good to see. We have some team spirit afterall!

We're not really comparable though. They haven't been out of the top two since 2011.

He played a lot of football at City and Klopp has shown he values guile in midfield very highly, Milner may be suffering from the fact that he is surrounded by other very work man like players in midfield.

The likes of Milner and Lallana being pushed into squad player status by signing better than them for the first team is something we've needed since Houllier's time in charge.

When you look at some of the dross we've bought as squad players over the years, often not inexpensively recruited, we'd be well stocked in comparison. The issue of course is that we used to actually make clever signings for our first 11, and...well.

If Klopp manages that as capably as he's started making some of the players we'd already mostly written off look useful to us, what a few years ahead it could be.

What's there not to like? he works harder than anyone, covers more ground in a game than anyone, scores goals, creates the most assists since Gerrard in that 2013 season, without the help of Suarez. He should be captain, never mind utility player, he's one of our best players.

IF he is it's why we're mid table in the worst premier league in memory.

Agreed, people are saying he's the perfect squad player but I think he's the perfect player to add balance to our first 11 with all the attacking players we have.

I don't think he's good enough to play centrally for us if we want to win the league but he is perfect for us out wide, hopefully Klopp sorts the cm positions in the summer which will make most of the players in our squad look better.

I actually agree with this.
