The best compliment I can give him is that he wouldn't have looked out of place on our great sides. A really class player on and off the pitch. For me, he is in the top 5 full-backs in the last 20 years of the English game with only Cole, Irwin and Zabaleta standing out as being better - maybe Gary Neville at a push.

I think your being too kind there. Neville was a great rb as much as I disliked him as a player. He was a good player but top 5 is a bit much.
