Any Graphic Artists on the GF?

My latest fad is doing logos and stuff on Illustrator and Photoshop. I am not a great artist  by any means - certainly I am no PhillyHamman.

 

So I have some questions:-

• Can shit artists be good graphic artists?
• How easy is it to make money from those websites where you upload you images for download/sale?
• Any good resources for learning Graphic Art - particularly Adobe Illustrator. 

I have seen some awesome art on this website - who can forget the realistic Michael Barrymore crime scene image or the Torres DIY thread? Legendary content! With this in mind I feel the GF above any art forum is the right place for this thread.

Numeros got some stolen copyrights, if you like his work he can steal others of similar quality.
