According to this the club doctor sent him home.

However, Sterling said: ‘Everyone thought I threw a sicknote in.

‘I was in training on the Tuesday. In the changing room my stomach started hurting. I still went out and trained though. That day I went home, I told the doc I was ill. My stomach was rumbling and I had diarrhoea.

‘The doctor just said to me you can’t be around the other players. For the next 48 hours, I stayed at home. That’s what the club doctor told me to do. When that 48 hours was done I came back to training as normal.

"That day I went home, I told the doc I was ill. My stomach was rumbling and I had diarrhoea."

Doesn't mean it's true. Did he call in sick after he got home? Why didn't he tell the doc before/during training when the shitpissing started? Maybe because the doc could then check him out at Melwood?

"The doctor just said to me you can’t be around the other players. For the next 48 hours, I stayed at home. That’s what the club doctor told me to do."

Probably over a text or phone then? And what are the doc supposed to say? "I don't believe you
, Raheem. You better show up tomorrow and make me look good while you give the rest of the squad diarrhoea AFTER you told me you were sick."

Surley the "stay home" is just precaution and damage limitation IF it was true.

The doctor's actions does not back up your story, Raheem. You cunt.

This is just another bad version of an old excuse used in elementary schools all over the world.

We didnt fine him for missing training, did we? The club doctor went to his place and checked him out. Either the doc is a quack and couldnt tell sterling was faking it or he signed him off for two days.

If there was nowt wrong with him, we'd have fined him wouldnt we?

So sterling is trying to mend bridges that both him and his agent torched.

He's a lot of work to do to fix his reputation id expect to hear a lot more spin and shite from his side over the coming weeks trying to justify his total and utter cuntish behaviour.

The way his agent works to sort out his public image Sterling will probably do an interview soon and start talking about how he when he was driving his pimped out Range Rover and got a call from Ian Ayre and he offered him 100K a week.

Sterling will say how he nearly crashed his car with all his kids in the back and couldn't believe the audacity of the club to low ball him with such a derisory offer and thats when he knew it was time to move.
