Agreed , however in the interest of my bank balance Iwant Speith.  11-1 at the start was the only value bet I could see at the time.

He is a bit suspect in closing out tournaments still but would be surprised if he spunked a 4 shot lead. Predict he will win  by 2 shots from Mickelson.  In fact given Mickelson won't be in the same group he's got half a chance if gets on a roll. Can't see Rose getting on terms.

Best of luck mate.

Last night, I asked myself whether Peter Allis was more annoying than the adverts on Sky. I concluded that he easily was so it's been Sky for me. Plus Hazel thingy and Paul Azingerdrone. Butch Harmon they are not.

Allis became a parody of himself with all his little homilies and quirky remarks but can't help liking him and will miss him when he's gone.

Shame to see him so bloated and looking ill, Looking at some of the old footage he was strapping bloke in his youth and a hell of player . Never quite did it in the majors

Having a 'major' at the same course every year is a farce. Its why there are usually players who win it multiple times and those who constantly struggle, horses for courses. The Opens are the ones I consider worthy of their major titles and even the USPGA can be played on tough courses,Whistling Straits etc, but not the Masters imo.

Speith will no doubt continue to do well there in the coming years and most likely win it again at some stage.
