Not much has happened I agree but I enjoy all the dialogue and stuff. BCS is slow as fuck but I thoroughly enjoy it all.

Only three episodes have been broadcast so far, episode 4 is scheduled to premiere on August 28th and episode 5 is due to premiere on September 4th.

Fuck you guys, I'm loving series 4. Just watched episode 4 and it's the best yet with some visceral action and some bliseringly subtle acting.

 

Really, Better Call Saul must surely have the best acting ensemble of any TV show I can ever recall; subtle, patient, human, believeable, fucking wonderful.

I think there's a break between episode 5 and 6 from what I can gather. Not sure how long for, mind - could be a week, could be six months.

I recently got hold of some earl grey tea bags, one box were decaffeinated and the other were not. I fancied a brew so put a bag in the cup not realizing it was the caffeine version and stayed awake the whole night wondering why I couldn't get any sleep. If I want a sleepless night, caffeine is the one.

Episodes 3 and 4 could have been done in a single episode. We all know Jimmy is a grifter, why is it being played out all over again? We had a whole segment on it last season too. Do we really need to see more personal conflict over what he wants to be in life, it's a bit dull.

Just watched Episode 5. Excellent, easily the best of the season.superb episode, I reckon.

It seems to be a bit like marmite. I love this series, but there are plenty who don't.

 

However I'm not sure what people are expecting really. The whole story is about how Jimmy becomes Saul and to a lesser extent how each of the other characters develop into those we know from Breaking Bad. We're almost there now - the scene in the toilet was perhaps his last chance for redemption and it was juxtaposed brilliantly with Kim's own struggle and conclusion. Unless they revisit the events in Breaking Bad, there isn't a whole lot more of a story to tell. Perhaps one more series, unless they continue with events following BB.
