The last couple of episodes haven't really done it for me. I definitely wouldn't watch a spinoff based on Gene.

Will there be one more Jimmy/Kim scene, perhaps in black and white?

I don’t think a gene show is a spin off they would do, BCS is the Jimmy/Saul/Gene story it’ll be wrapped up by the end.

I personally have enjoyed the last couple of episodes, but I get why some won’t like it. they have been all about Gene unravelling back into his old self but this time on a clearly more destructive path. I reckon he’s going down, going back to the house will seal his fate and I do hope we see Kim one last time though.

I think this week's episode was overkill on the Gene scamming angle.

Why? Wasn’t it entirely in keeping with the early days of Slippin Jimmy? He did far more back then, than he did here.

I really enjoyed this one. Moody and unhappy throughout. All the scams without any of the joy, just fuelled by regret and frustration.

I think the point of it was to show he's addicted to scamming. He just can't give it up.

That wasn’t addiction; he’s not doing it because he needs to scam, he’s doing it because he feels what he worked for has been taken and he wants to get it back, and presumably Kim too.

The show sort of ended a couple weeks ago.

They've jumped to the part where they scroll some text telling you what happened to the main characters after the end of the movie.

"Jimmy went on to work in a donut shop in Oshkosh Wisconson, but was unable to resist a life of crime. He died after being shot by an enraged motorist while performing a Chicago Sunroof on the man's tricked-out Suzuki Esteem."

Last few episodes have been wank, I fume whenever it goes to black and white as it’s always shit. It’s just gone…..boring. Compare it to the episodes with the hit on Lalo’s compound etc and it’s now just artsy drone.
Turning Kim from a blonde Goddess who looked like she could make a solid living as a dominatrix into one of the horrors that I see picking up their ghastly children at my kids school is basically a war crime.
Fucking fuming here, it had best improve next week or there’s a letter going in to Points of View.

Spoilers obviously:

excellent episode.

Him going back and going round cancer blokes house was really an unnecessary risk and I thought it really was the point of no return when the chap woke up and he looked like he was going to do him in.

marion figuring it out when he showed far too much knowledge of New Mexico law when he previously had told her he’d never been to ABQ was a monumental fuck up, she’d been suspicious of him but this set her off and I liked the glint of colour in his glasses as she watched the advert. Again I thought he was going to kill her but thankfully he didn’t but essentially he’s fucked now. He can’t get another ID he’s as hot as can be and it’s all down to his own arrogance. He was like that when signing the divorce with Kim, pretending he didn’t care and his call with her clearly set him off again this time to his ultimate demise.

kim was brilliant as usual. She’s gone from being decisive and able to convince anyone to literally making no decisions in her life post Saul, deferring to others to the point she’s a shell of a person. She’s with the polar opposite in “yep” guy (really didn’t like that part if I’m honest) and she seems to have given up I mean she couldn’t even decide on wether miracle whip would work in a potato salad. She finally decides to come clean but knows she’ll unlikely to be punished which she can’t stand she’s completely full of regret, and rightly fucking so.

I know a lot of people want a fast paced climactic finish to the show but does Saul deserve a last hurrah? Or should he fail in obscurity with no last perfectly timed quips in a whimper.

Excellent little synopsis JS.

My bet is that Jimmy goes out like Butch and Sundance, in a hail of FBI gunfire.

Can't wait.

My take is that she's trying to make amends and doesn't care what happens to her. I don't think she cares if she's punished or not, she's just trying to do what she thinks is right and recognizing the rest is beyond her control.

Edit: It's very much like a step 9 from a 12 step programme in fact.

Potentially but she knows she knows there’s no evidence other than her statement. No body, no witnesses and she only came out once she knew Lalo, Gus, Mike and the rest were gone so her safety was pretty much guaranteed.

i think she wants to atone, it’s prob why her life is so dull - she’s trying to punish herself she’s in a prison of her own making is the way I see it.

One episode left.
