Well, out and out strikers are a dying breed. And Pedro is not exactly an attacking mid, the creative type like Cout or Lallana. More of a Sterling type, can score and run a lot. We missed on Schurrle as well, for 22M we should be in for him, if he wanted to come. Even if he's not a striker he's quality and better to have than Lambert/Balotelli/Borini or any average striker. It was a chance, Chelski were looking to sale, so the price was decent as well.

They sold us Sturridge for about £12m so anything is possible I suppose.  I agree that it's not likely though.
