Following on from the frankly overwhelming

victory for cricket in the tennis v cricket poll, I bring you an OFFICIAL STUDY.

 

Please post your 5 favourite sports TO WATCH in no particular order, not including f*****l. After a few days or when I can be arsed, I'll collate the votes and we'll finally and comprehensively have the answer to the oft-comtemplated question of what exactly is the GF's favourite sport. And before anyone tries, I don't want any shite about things being sports or not. And I strictly don't want any taking the piss, and nor am I interested in your favourite sport to play. This is about favourite sports to watch. This is a proper OFFICIAL STUDY.

I find weightlifting strangely compelling viewing. 

 

Tiny bulky little East Europeans throwing eight times their own body weight over their heads, then standing there perfecting the "everything's fine here, nothing to worry about at all" grimace as their whole face quakes like an electrocuted lizard.

 

I love it when they go head to head, a Bulgarian breaking the world record to keep up with the bloke from Belarus whose already smashed the record twice to take the lead.

 

Best bit about the Olympics weightlifting is.
