We knocked it up from a template on moonpig, had a bit of a squabble with them, they were refusing to use a copyrighted image. When I queried which one, they said the bird with the football from TLW, pointed out the card was from TLW and they agreed to print it.

Just been reading back through this thread again. Fuck me what a guy Ste Gandy was.

 

God is a manager here in Australia now. One of my good mates was helping Babbel at Western Sydney Wanderers.

 

He got me tickets just above the dugout so I could be close to God when they played Brisbane.

 

I gave him a bit of a shout and a thanks. 

 

Got a bit emotional reading back through it all. You sort of relive moments with this sort of stuff. Started replaying shit in my head we spoke about and I look now with what I'm doing and hope I have kept my word I gave to the man.

Started re-reading this thread but something must have blown in through the window at about page 8 and lodged itself in my eye, which got a bit watery. I'll have to go back to it later but this is the best thread on this forum. In low moments of existentialism I genuinely find myself thinking about Steve and taking inspiration from his courage.
