I've decided to take the bull by the horns and have a go at starting one of these match threads.

 

I'm quietly confident about this game,so hopefully that'll inspire some luck on the pitch.

 

Reports that Stoke are dealing with an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug, with Begovic, Bardsley and another sent home today, and Stoke are weary that it could hit others.

 

I wouldn't make too many changes to last night's starting XI, Gerrard to drop back to replace Allen, with Coutinho or Lallana to play at the head of the diamond, and Moreno in at left back.

 

No excuses here, we must win this and then try to get a few back to back wins on the board.

We got the wrong goalie playing for a team in red and white stripes. I'd even play Brad Jones for this one. Dropping Lovren and Balotelli was just the start of sorting out our team, and playing Gerrard further forward. Dropping Johnson for Moreno or Flanagan (if fit) would be my next request.
