Footballers in general the greedy little fucks. Not quite hit the heights so a team takes a gamble on them plays them alongside better players they improve and despite being happy when they signed, a year into a 4 year contract they want a mega payrise already. Players on 300 grand a week who agitate for more. Many would see football clubs kill themselves financially as long as their demands are met and football the people put in place to protect the game have done fuck all to protect it just tried to ride the gravy train themselves until it derails. Players earning loads is fine but there is surely a limit when teams even top teams are begining to find it a near financial impossibility to keep up with the demand especially when oil states can keep feeding the greed until their hearts content. 

 

People who pay for these shirts, have all the subscriptions must be mad. Everything needs a reset. It's all just getting out of hand.

One of the biggest anomalies that. A country so rooted in capitalism and chasing the money has gone to great lengths to ensure a more even spread of wealth and resource distribution in its top tier sports. I suppose not having relegation helps quite a bit though.
