The shitness of modern football

Recommended Posts

Any organisation committing to pay the real Living Wage is a good thing and is obviously to be welcomed.

When its a Premier League football club - the kind of organisation that routinely rewards mediocrity with much more than the national median salary every fucking week - the obvious question is "what kept you"?

And when you learn that Liverpool are only the fourth Premier League to commit to the Living Wage, then it's time to get angry and start smashing things.

I noticed the "random fixture generator" threw out only one big match-up (which was on BT) on the weekend of the Ryder Cup, with Super Sunday having a single game which barely qualified as a football match, never mind Super.

Sky cunts.

I really dislike the way players who have been crap or uninterested get feted as soon as they string two decent games together. The latest tosser to get the press reach around is Barkley. Has spent a couple of years injured, running down his contract, trying to break LFC legs & being generally shit , all on massive wages. He suddenly has a couple of 7/10 games and he gets an England recall and a two-page article in the tabloids bragging that 'the penny has finally dropped'. You're 24 you molly-coddled arsehole.

Us with the most time between fixtures, Everton with the least.

It's almost as if the super random fixture generating computer of randomness is actually a total shit stirring cunt.

Luckily for them they've now got the squad to compete with the big boys.

If his rib injury needs resting mate he shouldn't be anywhere near the Dutch squad!

Klopp deffo seems like a manager who will not stop his players if they want to go away with their international team. I might be wrong but isn't Germany the biggest fixture for the Netherlands? Like the jocks playing England?

There's plenty stupid enough to pay it.   Same can be said for most football prices right enough, tickets, kits or any other tat the club sticks the badge on.

Watched Luis Enrique's presser on SSN yesterday & as well as having the wall behind him emblazoned with loads of advertising squares , the back of the microphone stand he was talking into had a computer screen flashing different adverts toward the audience as he was speaking.

It's by far the biggest grudge match for both nations.
