PSG shirts are a very common sight amongst young people and foreign lads it seems. Must be all the glitzy signings which is maybe why Man City have made less headway as they're more focused on building a functioning team.

I think it's more to do with the Jordan/Nike fashion branding than on the pitch/PSG themselves.

City Football Group is a holding company, with 78 per cent owned by the Abu Dhabi United Group and minority stakes held by American firm Silver Lake and Chinese firms China Media Capital and CITIC Capital.

 

Established in 2013, the group has secured total or partial ownership of twelve clubs across the world: Manchester City, New York City FC, Melbourne FC, Yokohama F. Marinos, Montevideo City Torque, Girona, Sichuan Jiuniu, Mumbai City FC, Lommel SK, Troyes and, now, Palermo.
