My mate from my old work got me this when he heard they never got me a leaving present, arrived in the post today & took me about an hour to work out where it had come from.

Featuring the great Bernard Purdie on drums too, magic.

Always been a fan of The Twang. Not done anything in ages but this is their new single. Had Spotify on earlier on my way home from work and went on that 'new releases' suggestion playlist. This fucker came on and I can't stop listening to it. Song of the year so far for sure.

Thought it might prove interesting to put a few things out there and just see where it takes us. Like I said, random.

Sugar's Copper Blue is one of the best pop albums ever recorded.

Karate are one of my favourite bands and they should have been massive.

As much as I love Radiohead, I still find Kid A unlistenable.

Dave Gilmour's 2nd solo in Comfortably Numb (from Floyd's live Pulse album) is the greatest guitar solo ever.

The Police's best song is The Bed's Too Big Without You.

Shane MacGowan is a brilliant singer.

Metallica would be a far better band without both Kirk and Lars.

I guess Metallica is the best.
