Saw an advert in the paper this morning, apparently Martha Reeves & The Vandellas are supporting Ocean Colour Scene in Glasgow this summer.

I mean, c'mon to fuck.

What next, Al Green supporting Menswear?

I went to see The Lost Brothers last week as part of the Galway Arts Festival, I've seen them a few times before (they played a local venue and stayed in my house). Great band and nice guys, Mark is from Omagh and Oisin from Navan but they met at college in Liverpool.

They're big mates with Bill Ryder-Jones - he produced one of their albums.

Gorgeous Everly Brothers / Simon and Garfunkel vibe.

Really dig there version of Corrina Corrina, they've never toured around by me before sadly.

They played Corrina, Corrina at the show, it was really great. For the encore they unplugged and sat at the edge of the stage and sang "Wild Mountain Thyme" and got all the crowd to join in - spine chilling. They also did "In spite Of All The Danger" (McCartney and Harrison) and an a cappella version of "All I Have To is Dream" and "Bye Bye Love".

Oisin is a big red too.
