My daughter listens to these - guitar an vocal are identical twins - fella on bass is the third brother.

 

Unfortunatley the signing fella has cut his hair and now looks like the dude from Loverboy.

Don't think much of them.

 

You get a band every 5 years who get compared with Led Zeppelin but when you listen to them, they've just been listening to Zeppelin & not all the things they were influenced by & they miss the whole point. The drummers are always crap as well which doesn't help.

Rival Sons are pretty good, in the mould of Zep (too much sometimes)

They only ever played Out on the Tiles live once (1970), not the best recording but you can hear that it's absolutely kicking...

After listening to them all weekend I've decided that Physical Graffiti is my favourite album. Just feels like there's so many layers to the album. Some tracks seem like filler but taken on their own they are ace.

So it does give a little bit of an overview timewise that the others do not.Plus it has : Boogie with Stu into "Should we roll it Jimmy?"

In all seriousness, yes - that Good Times Bad Times video was all over the internet about six months ago.

I only ever had Mothership so downloaded all their back catalogue last week.

 

I love the tracks when they plug the guitars in & cut loose but there are loads of weird acoustic tracks I just don’t get / like.

 

I only like maybe 1 in 4 songs - pretty much what I originally had Mothership!

It took me ages to get properly into Zeppelin, it's worth persevering with the ones you think sound weird. I reckon it helps to listen to the albums as they were meant to be listened to rather than on shuffle or something like that.
