I don't find women very funny, it has to be said, the problem with Melissa Mccarthy is she's the first woman in a long, long time that's come close to being funny and she's absolutely adored and worshipped the world over because of it. I haven't seen Bridesmaids because I know I wouldn't like it, but I did watch teh Heat and that had moments of comedy.

I'd just leave it at the two movies. Ghostbusters is great because it was lightning in a bottle. You can't recreate it, heck the original cast couldn't really create it with the second movie. Some things are just of their time and should be left that way.
