WATCHUNG, NJ – A top research scientist working for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) played a key role in helping Dr. Brian Hooker of the Focus Autism Foundation uncover data manipulation by the CDC that obscured a higher incidence of autism in African-American boys. The whistleblower came to the attention of Hooker, a PhD in biochemical engineering, after he had made a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for original data on theDeStefano et al MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and autism study.

Dr. Hooker’s study, published August 8 in the peer-reviewed scientific journal Translational Neurodegeneration, shows that African-American boys receiving their first MMR vaccine before 36 months of age are 3.4 times more likely to develop autism vs. after 36 months.

According to Dr. Hooker, the CDC whistleblower informant — who wishes to remain anonymous — guided him to evidence that a statistically significant relationship between the age the MMR vaccine was first given and autism incidence in African-American boys was hidden by CDC researchers. After data were gathered on 2,583 children living in Atlanta, Georgia who were born between 1986 and 1993, CDC researchers excluded children that did not have a valid State of Georgia birth certificate — reducing the sample size being studied by 41%. Hooker explains that by introducing this arbitrary criteria into the analysis, the cohort size was sharply reduced, eliminating the statistical power of the findings and negating the strong MMR-autism link in African American boys.

Dr. Hooker has worked closely with the CDC whistleblower, and he viewed highly sensitive documents related to the study via Congressional request from U.S. Representative Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. The CDC documents from Congress and discussions that Hooker had with the whistleblower reveal widespread manipulation of scientific data and top-down pressure on CDC scientists to support fraudulent application of government policies on vaccine safety. Based on raw data used in the 2004 DeStefano et al study obtained under FOIA, Dr. Hooker found that the link between MMR vaccination and autism in African-American boys was obscured by the introduction of irrelevant and unnecessary birth certificate criteria — ostensibly to reduce the size of the study.

The results of the original study first appeared in the journal Pediatrics which receives financial support from vaccine makers via advertising and direct donations, according to a CBS News report. The DeStefano et al study is widely used by the CDC and other public health organizations to dismiss any link between vaccines and autism — a neurological disorder on the rise.

Dr. Hooker stated “The CDC knew about the relationship between the age of first MMR vaccine and autism incidence in African-American boys as early as 2003, but chose to cover it up.” The whistleblower confirmed this.

When asked if there could be any scientific basis for excluding children born outside of Georgia, Hooker responded, “I know of none, and none has been provided by the authors of the DeStefano study.” He added, “The exclusion is reminiscent of tactics historically used to deprive African-Americans of the vote by requiring valid birth certificates.”

Dr. Hooker concluded further study is needed to determine why this specific effect (3.4-fold increase when MMR is administered prior to 36 months) is seen exclusively in African-American males, and determine whether delaying the first MMR vaccination should be advised for this population. A link between the MMR vaccine and autism has been conceded in cases compensated by the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

The CDC whistleblower informant, who has worked for the government agency for over a decade, remarked to Dr. Hooker in phone calls: “We’ve missed ten years of research because the CDC is so paralyzed right now by anything related to autism. They’re not doing what they should be doing because they’re afraid to look for things that might be associated.” The whistleblower alleges criminal wrongdoing of his supervisors, and he expressed deep regret about his role in helping the CDC hide data.

According to David Lewis, PhD, former senior-level microbiologist with the U.S. EPA’s Office of Research & Development, skewing scientific data to support government policies is a major problem at federal agencies, including EPA, CDC, and USDA. Lewis, who was terminated by EPA for publishing papers in Nature that questioned the science the agency uses to support certain regulations, believes top-down pressure on federal scientists and researchers working on government-funded projects in academia is jeopardizing public health.

“Working for the government is no different than working for corporations. You either toe the line or find yourself looking for another way to make a living,” Lewis says. “No one would be surprised if Merck published unreliable data supporting the safety of its products. Why would anyone be surprised that the CDC is publishing skewed data to conclude that the vaccines it recommends are safe? We need a better system, where scientists are free to be honest.”

There’s been a lot of news about a hidden CDC insider whistle blower who had hidden his identity until now. The whistle blower felt guilt ridden for being part of withholding CDC documents that contained evidence of MMR vaccinations causing autism. Now, he’s been outed by the Autism Media Channel. That group’s site had disappeared at the time of this writing.

According to investigative journalist Jon Rappoport of nomorefakenews.com, the whistle blower’s name is William W. Thompson, PhD. He was a scientist working for the CDC in its National Center for Immunizations and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), which includes the following in its mission statement: “… prevention of disease, disability, and death through immunization… .”

“In other words, it’s a PR agency that promotes vaccines. Actual science about vaccine dangers would be cut off at the pass. [Now] Thompson is looked at as a threat to this agenda. His unwillingness to come all the way forward, speak his name, tell the whole truth has boomeranged on him,” asserts Rappoport, who also reported from a contact of his that Thompson was escorted out of CDC headquarters.

He was fired, then the autism site that put out his name disappeared. Coincidence? I think not. From their FaceBook site …

A Few Questions That May Never Be Answered

Rapapport posed a valid conjecture:

“The [bogus MMR] study was used by the press and the government to trumpet the idea (the lie) that everybody could rest easy; vaccines containing mercury weren’t harming anyone. Now, this, too, comes under scrutiny.”

He posed these questions:

“If Thompson was lying about the MMR vaccine, did he also lie about mercury and its toxic effects? Did he intentionally underplay those effects? Did he cook the data in that study, too?”

Don’t be surprised if sooner rather than later Thompson is dead and the death is ruled a suicide. This has (potentially) happened to whistle blowers in the past. To name only a few: DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey, who had threatened to disclose her little black book’s client content of DC big names; UK weapons expert Dr. David Kelley, who said the claim that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction was not true; and investigative journalist Gary Webb, who was ‘suicided’ in his home.

In case you have doubts about Gary Webb’s widely accepted suicide because “he couldn’t get a big name press job anymore” lie, here’s more on the impossible logistics, shot twice with his .38 revolver in the back of his head “suicide”.

There have been more. Other possibilities for silencing Thompson include committing him to a psychiatric ward and “treating” him with drugs that will make him crazy enough to be an unreliable source, or simply claiming he was a disgruntled employee who had lied.

Unfortunately, most state institution and mainstreamers will accept all the above.

The conspiracy nonsense is to be expected, and ordinarily harmless, but negged because this time the scare bullshit is actually impacting on people's health.

I wouldn't expect anything less from someone of your standing, but this is from a Phd Scientist working for the CDC.

As for impacting on people's health, what do you call a three fold rise in Autism rate?

At times, Stronts, I'm more likely to look into something purely because you've spoken out against it!

I saw some sick shit before about vaccines, but it was related to a major disease so I knew it would draw flak and left it. (good old peer pressure maybe.) Might look into it again at a future date, but these vaccine people do have an agenda at times. They're no angels, and they cannot be defended 100% of the time because they're driven by money just like so many other corrupt cunts.

The day people realize that almost every sector is corrupt to an extent because of money craving pricks the better. This includes aid organizations, human rights organizations, the lot. You have to take off the blinkers because some people have infested every single area of life that allows them to make money. It's too simple to bring up the conspiracy nut angle and hope everyone in that sector gets a free pass. Those days are coming to an end.

Make no mistake, this area is big money. It will attract cunts, pure and simple.

Letter from PhD scientist working for the CDC.

(NaturalNews) The CDC whistleblower who has come forward with proof that the CDC knowingly covered up scientific evidence linking the MMR vaccine to autism has now been revealed as William W. Thompson, PhD. To share this story, use tags #vaccinegate and #EndVaccineViolence

Natural News has acquired a letter from William Thompson to former CDC head Dr. Julie Gerberding, dated February 2nd, 2004. The date of this letter is important because a pivotal Institute of Medicine (IoM) meeting on vaccine safety took place just one week later on February 9th. (See the full letter below.)

http://www.naturalnews.com/images/CDC-Gerberding-Warning-Vaccines-Autism.jpg

In this letter, William Thompson says he will be "presenting the summary of our results from the Metropolitan Atlanta Autism Case-Control Study," and he laments that the data will show MMR vaccines cause an increased risk of autism in youth African-American babies. He explains "I will have to present several problematic results relating to statistical associations between the receipt of MMR vaccine and autism."

He then goes on to implore Dr. Gerberding to respond to questions that had been raised by "Representative David Weldon" regarding the integrity of CDC scientists working in the immunization program. He also explains that the CDC has been covering up the truth about the safety problems the agency's own scientists had documented with vaccines, saying:

I've repeatedly told individuals in the [National Immunization Program Office of Directors] over the last several years that they're doing a very poor job representing immunization safety issues and that we're losing the public relations war.

In response to this letter, the CDC took deliberate action to retroactively alter the outcome of the autism study by arbitrarily eliminating most subjects from the study, thereby shrinking the sample size to a small data set which would not achieve statistical significance. This is a clear and irrefutable case of scientific fraud. This fraud allowed CDC scientists such as Colleen Boyle to testify before Congress that there was "no credible link" between MMR vaccines and autism.

Repped for independent thinking.

Perpetuting anti-science scare stories that are directly impacting on the health of children is not "independent thinking".

Why do people swallow this obvious bullshit when real science debunks it every time?

That would be fine if science wasn't so corrupted by major corporations, who by the way, pretty much run the planet. It's still independent thinking.

I just find this extremely sad. What a great pity you don't understand how science works.

Real science as you call it, is bought and paid for by big pharma.

The wife works as an analytical chemist for a pharmaceutical company in their Quality Assurance department. I've lost count of the times she's dealt with the FDA and when the times comes, we will definitely be getting our first child vaccinated. There's not one shred of evidence she's seen to convince her otherwise.

The truth is, there have been several court cases where families have been granted damage payouts due to what vaccines and their ingredients have done to their children. The cases are directly linked to autism and brain damage, and each injury has been deemed "caused by vaccines." Below I have supplied three links to court cases. Please take the time to check out each one to understand them further.

Is there more evidence linking vaccines to autism? Yes. While some studies exist to state that there is no link between vaccines and autism, I have found several that do show a link. Given the existence of these studies and their results, I think we need to truly examine whether or not vaccines are safe and if it makes sense for us to blindly follow what we are told to do when it comes to vaccines regardless of the dangers. I can already hear the comments that will come in from people stating the dangers of this post and that this is some conspiracy, but it is not. Realize that this is much more of a real and serious issue than many think.

All the current evidence points to autism developing in the foetus long before birth. That won't really come as a shock to anyone who knows anything about foetal development, but it's good to see it confirmed scientifically.

Just so you know : I hope you were expecting some stick for posting this thread. It's not an easy one to tackle, but respect for trying with it. Keep looking into big pharma though if you're really interested, you'll come back to this eventually even if it's not what you're actually looking for. The one main source to find is peer-reviewed papers, as many as you can. The more you find, the less you can be accused of not understanding "science." It's a joke really but corporate backed science is a load of shit in many cases, Mosanto's bullshit being probably the prime example.

I know this to an extent because Monsanto is a pet hate of mine and I've just looked into this as recently as yesterday. This is one example (read the abstract if you're interested.) : http://www.mdpi.com/1099-4300/15/4/1416

Of course, Monsanto said that was biased, but Monsanto can kiss my fucking arse.

There is no anti science agenda it's merely common sense. It's been well documented for years that vaccines laced with mercury (thimerosal) cause autism in children. If your talking about science you'd understand that it's common knowledge amongst the scientific community that mercury is the second most toxic element to the human body to plutonium, so pumping baby's full of mercury isn't a good idea, especially seeing as it migrates to the brain killing neuron's indiscriminately. Then you wonder why these kids end up with poor cognitive function.

I'd rather believe my common sense than your version of science, the same science that puts mercury laced amalgam in peoples mouths, gave people electric shock therapy to cure them of their homosexuality, and are still handing out radiation doses in their x rays, pumping people full of toxic chemicals (chemotherapy) and whatever else you want to talk about. Science is at such a microcosmic level of understanding at this point in time, that to hold any reverence for it is quite frankly hilarious, and shows your ignorance and more aptly in your case, pure stupidity

It's actually sad in itself, many who say you should look at "science" in these cases aren't looking at science really. Real science would utterly destroy the credibility of a lot of these so-called vaccines. Yes, they might help ward off a disease, but it's the added "ingredients" that can cause a lot more to arise. It's like food : a lot of it might have those good vitamins and minerals that we all need, but it's the other shit that can more than cancel it out because it can cause all types of problems.

And don't even get me started on the FDA, bunch of corrupt fucks. You could even go as far as calling them Monsanto's bitches.

Yeah have already looked into it, and have found papers. You should check flouride too, it's another one. Badly fucked up. It's almost like the population are lab rats.

Yeah, Fluoride. Forced medication used to dumb down the population. Nazi Germany called it Eugenics, we call it Dental care!
