I can see he's not played much but he seems to offer so little when he does that it's difficult to see that changing. Rodgers can be ruthless with new signings who contribute so little.

I think the worry is in some part down to the current circumstances of Sturridge being injured, and Balotelli still finding his feet (I really hope this is the case because unlike many others, I've seen nothing positive in Balotelli's play yet), so the spotlight is on Lambert and Borini, and it probably won't be in a couple of months time.

 

We shouldn't need them to be changing a game at home to Aston Villa.
