Looks like the OPCW are in the shit.

I'm linking the Daily Fail. I don't want to but no other outlet is running this yet. Wikileaks just released a whistleblower email less than 2 hours ago and Peter Hitchens is the only reporter in the UK press to have covered this in detail so far : https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7718627/Sexed-dossier-furore-alleged-poison-gas-attack-Assad.html

Looks like no other outlet has covered it so they'd probably give him the same shit if it happened again in the near future and pretend they were ignorant of the situation. At least Hitchens has had the courage to report it, maybe others will follow eventually.

I’d think twice about trusting the word of the Mail.

I don't trust the Mail and think the outlet is a joke in general. I read the Hitchens article though and he seems to have covered it well enough, thought it contained more info than just linking the Wikileaks page too.

This is akin to the head of MI5/de facto foreign secretary being assassinated by another state, I think there will be significant repercussions to this,  in particular shipping in the gulf will be disrupted again and there may be more Iranian drone strikes on U.S allies in the region. Can't help but think that said US allies are probably not best impressed with this, if not surprised given the recent impeachment and the lack of foresight from this administration.
