If anyone can find evidence on this here forum of me saying that 1) I'd never get married and 2) I'd never have kids then they're an outright liar. Baby_b due in November. Holy. Moly.

Congratulations mate. All the best.

After a long labour, Baby_B arrived on Sunday. Mum and little one are great but staying in hospital a few days as a precaution.

She's beautiful, I'm besotted.

I hope _b is allowed on the birth certificate.

It's such a crazy, amazing, surreal feeling when they finally arrive, relief, excitement and a little bit of shitting yourself wondering if you are going to know how to do it.

Remlette_b would be a boss name, actually.

Didn't know where to post this but anyone got any suggestions on where to go around Liverpool for the little'uns first birthday? Most places seem to want abar 15 kids to book anything.

This phenomenon is very annoying, what 1 year old has 15 mates? I'm not a Liverpudlian but perhaps there is a farm you could take him/her?

Is it for a party or just for the little one to see stuff and enjoy?

The misses is bringing some mates so there will be a mix of adults, babies and toddlers. We did think Knowsley Safari but it gets expensive really quickly. Currently looking at renting a soft play for a couple of hours.

Yeah that's we ended up doing for my 4 year old when we eventually found one that would go down to 8 kids. For 1 year old there isn't a huge amount out the where you can imagine it's genuinely something they will enjoy, at least that I could think of.

I've been sent a ton of children's entertainers who honestly look like clear nonces or like it's their 15th business after their cupcake or nail salon didn't quite work out.

On a side note, popped to a few baby classes over the last few weeks and I've never felt so awkward in my life.
