Might be forced back onto the trainer market for these...

Went to look at these yesterday & absolutely love them but they're white suede so will last about 10 seconds in the rain. £85 saved.

For width?

Just general fit.

I don't wear trainers very often but I had sambas a few years back and had to bin them as they got too tight over the course of the day even though they were my 'proper' size. I tried a size up the other day in the shop though and there was some slippage at the back. I'd read Nike are usually a half size small, but not sure about Adidas.

I take a size 9 in proper shoes but wear 9.5 or 10 in Adidas, depending on style. Adidas footwear can be pretty narrow.

Nope. As a Scotsman you should understand about getting more for your money. In fact it's probably my Scottish ancestry that makes me this way.

The average price of a pair of Adidas trainers these days is probably between £60 & £70. Most of the pairs in this thread will be more like £70 to £90 (RRP).

I'm not sure what being Scottish has to do with it, trainers cost the same in Scotland & England. I've got trainers as old as 18 years which I still wear so am generally happy with what I get for my money.
