Not had a sound out of mine, whether wearing with jeans, socks with shorts or just bare foot with shorts. I did end up going a full size bigger though. 

 

As you say they look fucking boss.

Gazelles and campus, with th odd pair of shell toes (and a pair of air Jordan which were ducking g superb) were all I wore in the 90’s, while the scalls were running round in Reebok classics and airmax, simple, classic design, suede, three leather stripes, and a fucking trefoil. I’m not playing basketball or steeplechasing, I don’t need air bags, or pumps or fucking springs, or carpet slippers

Had the same with a leather pair of Samba’s.

 

Bought them about 3 year ago and I’ve probably worn them about 4 times. Been in a cupboard gathering dust.

 

Shame, as they are lovely looking and I’d love to wear them but I’ll rather not sound like there’s a clown walking down the street when out.

Jumbo cord in turd brown is a wonderful combination. I still miss my vintage turd brown cord Gloverall duffle coat. I used to wear it with a mint green Lacoste polo. I looked ace, like a giant mint Feast.

Do you think? The clothes are turd and there isn’t much there trainee wise. I used to like Adidas Galaxy, but couldn’t wear anything with metallic stripes now.

I’ve always liked Nike Daybreaks, especially in these colours. However, being a fussy sod, I’d prefer the suede to be a little darker and not as weathered looking.
