Another good performance from him.. Worth mentioning that he started the move for both counter attack goals yesterday. Still not good enough to start for us regularly.. but it’s good to see him doing well after the torrents of abuse and death threats he (and his family received) after the Spurs game.

I wouldn’t class hoofing the ball out of our own box twice as ‘starting moves’.

Expect a massive fuck up on Wednesday;

From Wembley woe to Liverpool's last man and Lionel Messi - the transformation of Dejan Lovren

Reds defender has fought back from the brink to regain his place in defence

In fairness to him, he's not quoted in that.

Which gives him latitude for a 'I'm back, I love derbies and you haven't seen the best of me' multimedia extravaganza on the official site in the coming days.

He's regained his place by competing against that wide range of central defensive options in our squad.

I'll say this, he's shit.

But...to be fair, he's done well to not have a nervous breakdown after that horror show against Spurs.

But most credit has to go to Klopp, for not punching him square in the face after that and saying things to him that could never be taken back, because I would have.  Instead, he protected him, he backed him, and that's to be applauded.
