Dejan Lovren

Why keep criticising him? It's Klopp that picks him and Klopp that decided we could make do with what we have had for about 2 years now. Klopp allowed us also to lose another centre back so our options for rotating Lovren out of the team are practically zero. Nope, it's too easy to criticise Lovren, he's doing his best but it isn't good enough. He shouldn't be in our team anymore but that isn't his fault.

Had been getting overly anxious for a while hoping we'd get results towards the end of games (the CL qualifier did my head in with nerves) but I can't even bring myself to be that bothered at the moment. Knowing how much we failed to sort the defence out when it's so clearly in need of additions and instead selling Sakho, it seems too crazy to still get so wound up.

If we get to the CL knockout stages I'm convinced that we're due another defeat like what we had at the weekend if we don't get something sorted in Jan.

The infuriating thing is that there is a highly competent centre back somewhere in him. He shown that when he was at Southampton. 2013/14 season there was a lot of talk about using the services of Steve Peters, a leading sport psychologist. Typical we stop using him when we bring Lovren in.

Reminds me of Mignolet can go through periods where he looks decent/good and most people get duped into thinking that they are good enough. Both should have been upgraded on.

Klopp keeping faith with these players will cost us points / winning trophies.

Mourinho is a total prick and i'd hate to have him as our manager but he's ruthless in how he builds a team and works on sorting the weak areas out. He'd have bombed out Mignolet, Moreno and Lovern as he wouldn't try to polish a turd.

Our defence has been an issue before Klopp first took over but he's kept faith in the same bunch of average bottlers that will let you down when you least expect it.
