Lovren has had very few outstanding performances,even the Dortmund game ended with us letting in three. He must have had a part to play in those three goals somewhere? I think he's pretty awful and have no idea why we ever bought him in the first place.

I can't tell you which games specifically but I can definitely recall thinking after a game that Lovren was really good.

 

I can also remember games where I thought he was shite, and that's the problem.

Can should never play centre-back again after that 6-1 Stoke game. Was even fucked off at half-time at 5-0 down for Kolo. The sad truth is there is not a single way we can put out an acceptable defensive line-up out there, whichever permutation we try. The damage has already been done.
