Dejan Lovren

That's incredibly harsh on Lovren. If the attacker moves that far in front of the front post you have to leave him at it. It's 0.0001% chance he's scoring from there, probably half that again giving it's Joselu.

Fair enough, mate. I’d have to see it again. But at the time it looked pretty bad.

The first angle makes it look like Joselu has stolen a march on Lovren and it looks really close to a goal from this angle. I personally think the second angle shows Lovren was caught napping a little bit. The slip by Robertson I think has caught them slightly unaware and Joselu was quicker to react. The third angle shows the Alisson never really looked in trouble and seemed to recognize that it was going wide and perhaps shows that it was wider than the first angle suggested. A couple of defensive errors but Alisson had it covered, based on these clips Clive.

Atrocious.

Our last remaining weak point. Sure, Van Dijk can make him look half-decent against Bournemouth or Cardiff but put him under some pressure with attackers who are quick and have intelligent movement and he's a massive liability.

City's whole defensive gameplan tonight was to make him be the one distributing the ball. They covered up everyone else and just stood off him and dared him to do something. Which was usually just passing the ball to one of their players. That is, when he wasn't playing them onside or just standing off them in the box. Liability.

Bastard of a defender.

Needs to strapped to a rocket and shot out into a place full of useless cunts, maybe Stoke or Burnley.

The day that this Muppet leaves the club can't come soon enough. Panic is his modus operandi and it travels through the whole team. Utterly out of his depth.

Not good enough to win the biggest games, but whatever. We knew that already and didn't have a choice in this game. And he's crap on the ball. Teams have started to realize he can be easily pressed.

Would it be out of order to call him an incompetent shite cunt? Should have subbed him at half time for the training cone.

No point bringing a training cone on as Aguero treated Lovren like one for his goal. The most expensive but also the best training cone in the world. Perhaps you could call him the Carlsberg cone.
