Dejan Lovren

Regardless of the fact Lovren is pretty shit, people need to judge the incident without looking at past misdemeanours. Most refs don't give a penalty for that, because it wasn't a penalty.

The refs angle was a hand in the back and the push. We have all the angles on tv. It was a "clear" penalty from the refs view. The fact that it wasn't a penalty from all other angles doesn't help much.

He still had his arms up and in the back of the blue and including a push makes Lovren look a retarded defender. He should know that Gomez had pulled back in and taken his place centrally.

Strange he did not say a word about Mane.

It seems to be implied that the whole team failed as they didn't expand on the 1-0 scoreline. The penalty is the punishment for that.

After pub thoughts.

No way was it a pen. Nobody who i was with thought it was either.

Lovren, however, should have intercepted and cleared, while the ball was in the air, and not let it bounce on.

Mane was wasteful and not for the first time, a bit selfish.

Klopp tried to be too clever. Another chance to capitalise on others dropping points wasted.

Cunt ref.

You're just making up excuses to have a pop at Lovren. The bitter banged into him, where else was he meant to put his hands? Plus there literally was no push, it was a fucking dive using momentum, clever yes, cheating yes, Lovren's fault no.

I disagree. Look at the refs view. Not having a pop a Lovren, it's a waste of time and could be doing it every game until he is sold or retires. But that penalty makes him look stupid. He shouldn't have his hands anywhere near the blue. Not need for showing towards the sideline. That incident would not have been dangerous at all, as Gomez was in position.

But I'll agree to that the bitter was clever getting that penalty, almost a yellow for diving if he gets caught by the ref, but unfortunately his view was straight at Lovrens hand in the back and the following push.

It happened in a split second, hands are always in the vicinity of the opposition player when he barges into you, which he did. It's a defensive human reaction to raise your hands.

I hope one of those decisions go against the bitters in their next few games, be interesting to see what that fat bent cunt Allardyce has to say then.

This. If his hand isn't there, no penalty is given. Soft penalty given away by a soft shite.

if your hit crossing the road by a speeding car that drives over a red light, its partly your fault for walking there, but the driver is 100% at fault and so is that stupid everton player and the clueless ref. the everton player should get a retrospective ban for his actions.

From the refs view lovless pushed him in the back, it was soft but why the unloved one raised his hand into the attackers back only he knows, the penalty was both soft and stupid.

Seriously, what motions and where are your arms and hands when running? This idea that Lovren should have his arms and hands behind him and therefore would not have raised arms or hands is plain daft.

He let the attacker con the ref by pushing him in the back. It was soft and not a pen but to put his hand into his back was stupid.

Tweet from Carra nailing it.

Not a good day for Klopp with his team, penalty opinion & interview! Don’t take a chance in the Derby with your team, no doubt EFC were lucky as they never had a chance of note but at 1-0 there’s always a chance an LFC defender will do something stupid!! #LIVEVE

The importance Carragher places on Klopp's interview performance for Sky is embarrassing.
