He's happy getting paid a small fortune for doing the square root of fuck all but who can blame him?

We need to move him on but he's like Uncle Albert.

I think this is the problem with the sport being a profession. We think the players are all desperate to have great careers and play the game, when to many it's just a job and one they care little for. Often the only difference between the very good players and players like origi is attitude.

We had a MotD video from the 70s, there was a Wolves player who just retired because he felt he could hurt someone and he couldn't live with that. Young lad too, may have become a Jehova Witness. That is our Div, soft and gentle, getting paid to do his hobbie but would prefer to do his profession which is something different altogether.

The funniest thing about his goal in Madrid was how he’d been absolutely fucking shite for the previous 28 or so minutes.

I know Bobby wasn’t having a good game, likely not fit, bring bringing on Origi was like playing with 10 men…

…then bedlam.

Agreed.

After he scored 2 goals against Everton, it was 5 games until he got another start. How many times can that happen before you decide it doesn't really matter if you play well or not?

This. I think he's been treated unfairly.

I was saying this exact line in the stadium just before he scored.

Turns out his brother was sitting behind us.

Looks just like him, as well.

He did give me a big (and slightly sarcy) thumbs up after the celebrations died down.

True story.

What an idiot!

Me but I just sit by a pool, drinking ice can cold cans of beer all day, not standing about in a heavy lime green cotton onesy!
