It took a few years but I’ve finally put some proper hours into this. Gone from being Arthur the bad-ass to shovelling shit as John Marston. I’m 89% done on Story Mode but I’ll be going looking for the gang hideouts when that’s done. It’s boss going into Blackwater and seeing that they’ve kept the town exactly the same as in RDR1. 
 

Once I’ve shot everyone in the Wild West I’m restarting GTA5.

And just like RDR1, you still feel John should have abandoned Jack in that snow at the start of RDR2. The whiny little sod

I was absolutely gutted when my horse died. It cost me $1,000. Now I’m Marston with about $5 to my name. I’m glad they gave me my guns back though, I spent a fortune upgrading them all to the top level and solid gold.

Not sure if you know the story but you do start making money after the initial rancher John bit wraps up. I read somewhere you can go back to that case at the end of Arthur's story and find the money, but never could find it

Yeah, I can see different jobs popping up on the map. I reckon I’m only an hour or two away from finishing the story. I’m assuming it leads right up to the beginning of the first game?

I'm trying to remember the very end. But if you are still on that ranch there's a fair bit more still to come. For what I thought would be just a quick second story there's quiet a bit with John.
