He's still here because Klopp sees something in him that he thinks can be developed.  Whether that comes to fruition or not is a different story.........

No, he tried to replace him with Guerrero, Chilwell, Digne and De Sciglio. All of them fell through for various reasons. He doesn't see anything in him. He fully understands he's a liability, otherwise he wouldn't be behind a right winger in the pecking order when he's the only left back at the club.

Chilwell wasn't going to be a replacement.  I don't think he'd even played for the Leicester in the Premiership at that stage.  Klopp's been up front about having competition for places, and he's stood behind Moreno on a few occasions.  Ask Balotelli and Benteke what your chances are if Klopp wants rid of you.

I can understand the ire towards Moreno, but people allow their dislike of him to cloud their judgement, deciding that they know what Klopp is thinking and planning when he's clearly doing the opposite.

Still, if Moreno doesn't improve massively, this will probably be his last season at the club.  It's down to him to listen, learn and put it into practice.  At least Klopp is giving him the chance to do so.

Yep. He also did the right and decent thing in publicly defending him to the hilt.

If we're stuck, I wouldn't be surprised to see him playing a role further up the left where he's more likely to be a danger to the opposition than to us. He's got a decent attacking instinct in him.
