What's Can's fucking problem anyway? Struting around like he might one day own the place. Thinks he's bigger than the club? Disgrace.

I hope Can's problem isnt being stuck on the bench with all the other committee moneyballl signings as Rodgers looks whistfully at his bench and chooses a 16 year old kid to go on in an important game at Stamford Bridge because he dos'nt trust him.

Our transfer committe was involved in in the signing of Coutinho too,so cant be all that bad.

I dont mind it to be honest as i simply dont trust Rodgers with big money signings. I feel his strengths are working with players rather than signing them.

The biggest flaw is that we are quite obviously not able to sign the very top players who are in their prime but are trying to get them at the stage before they become that. This will obviously mean a few will fall by the wayside but maybe the hope is that these players wont be as big a disaster financially if they dont turn out to be what we hoped they would.

I would´t trust Can as a DM. He loses possession quite often and his passing can´t be trusted.

Can is a good ball winner, but so is Allen

He is of course a young player, but his weaknesses will be exposed more often in the PL.

It´s easy to be fooled by compilation, but these match-videos better show his qualities:

He's a big strong lad for 20. It was evident that he was a bit of a beat a couple of years ago. Shouldn't have much issue handling the physical side I'd the game here.

Strange that the people are creaming themselves over a player who's only appearance on British soil saw him totally humiliated against Man utd are saying for an approx 8mil more, Adam Lallanna is over priced.

8 million what?

The Lallana deal is being quoted in pound, the Can deal in Euros. If we have bid 25 million for Lallana then that's a damn site more than 8 million.

Just read in the official site...

'The deal marks the fourth occasion a player has arrived at Anfield from Leverkusen, with the other three all being strikers in Yesil, Erik Meijer and Andriy Voronin'

Not entirely sure that will get people excited, offal.

Are you suggesting Voronin and Meijer were not excellent signings NV?

Heathen. Cult heroes I'll have you know. According to someone off the internet- Voronin had twice the skill of players like Tevez and Rooney.

And the hair? Don't get started on the hair...

On the offal now:

Liverpool FC have today agreed a deal in principle with Bayer Leverkusen to sign 20-year-old Emre Can, subject to documentation being completed.

A versatile German youth international, the Frankfurt-born midfielder made 29 Bundesliga appearances last season, scoring three goals.

His contributions helped Leverkusen finish fourth and secure Champions League qualification, having joined the club from Bayern Munich last summer.

Can clocked up seven appearances in Europe's elite competition during 2013-14, and has previously played at the European U21 Championship and the U17 World Cup.

The news follows the announcement on Monday of England striker Rickie Lambert as the Reds' first signing of the summer transfer window

Edit: Got beaten. Sorry guys!

From the beeb.

Liverpool have agreed a deal in principle to sign Bayer Leverkusen's Germany Under-21 midfielder Emre Can.

The 20-year-old, who prefers to play in central midfield, has a £10m release clause in his contract and Liverpool have now met that figure.

The deal is set to go through, subject to documentation being completed.

The Frankfurt-born player, who is of Turkish descent and can also play in defence, joined Leverkusen from Bayern Munich last summer in a deal worth £4m.

He caught the eye of Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers with a series of combative and athletic performances that helped Leverkusen finish fourth in the Bundesliga.

Russ Atmosphere has agreed a deal in principle to stop being derogatory about Bayer Leverkusen's Germany Under-21 midfielder Emre Can's suspect passing, gleaned solely from Youtube clips that feature terrible house backing-tracks.

This summer's marquee signing.
