Ribble Bus company map of the North West from 1962.

Cool. When I was a kid I used to be in the Ribble Enthusiasts Club, loved visiting the bus depots. Got chased out of a few too!

 

Maps are boss. I love studying maps looking for traces of roman roads which are quite easy to spot where a modern road has been built on top of them by the arrow straight sections. Its an eye opener how many you can spot.

 

Love looking at old railways line maps too. All those closed branch lines where the cut is still visible.
