he's a 24 million pound Suso.

He'll prove to be another waste of money. Silly signing imo, we already had a player as good as him in Suso.

Why does it have to be either/or ? They were both on the pitch together last night and both involved in the goal. Lallana has prem league goal scoring pedigree and Suso has time on his side.

Be surprised if anyone gave the ball away more than him last night and it wasn't because he was trying stuff, he was turning blindly into players and not releasing the ball, maybe game intelligence will come with fitness...

You really are silly fungus.  Either that or peddling the same old tired agenda.  Watch the video above, then tell us he's not an intelligent player.  He was excellent and our best player last night, albeit against Shite opposition.

In fact that video just shows what a great game he had last night - with and without the ball.  Always showing, always taking up intelligent positions, and always using the ball well.  He did misplace one or two passes, but he's always trying to make things happen, so you can't have a go at him for that.

He seems to already be getting the Allen syndrome treatment on here where a half decent performance means he was excellent. He was alright nothing special.

We were playing lower league opposition, so you can't really judge him against them. But fungus saying he lacks game intelligence is just ridiculous, and stinks the place out.

I thought he was excellent, for work rate if nothing more. He tried to create chances but for some reason our players are treating the entry to the penalty area like a fucking force field - they line up and don't run in. Lallana was running right into them.

they need to get used to the sort of movement and pace he brings to the team.  Those forwards ahead of him need to be constantly moving in the box to try to find some space.  We desperately miss that sort of movement without Suarez or Sturridge.

I really really enjoyed Lallana's performance last night.  The close control was amazing.  The game awareness that meant he could direct his first touch to how he wanted to turn on the ball was really good. And the little flick around the back for Enriques move to the line was a joy.  His preferred foot was whichever one it made more sense to use.

A long way to go of course, but I love watching a player like that.  It gave me real hope that he could be a big player for us.
