I totally and utterly disagree. Mignolet has proven time and time again he isn’t even close to being good enough. Karius might or might not be good enough, but we need to keep him in to determine whether he is good enough for a 1st or 2nd keeper role. Mignolet has proven he isn’t good enough for either.

Mignolet isn't good enough for us but he can go 4 or 5 games where you barely notice him as there are no problems , but Karius seems to have a howler in every game he plays.

 

Jurgen obviously sees something in him and after his alienation of Mignolet today it means Karius has to improve , and quickly. If we were drifting aimlessly in 8th or 9th you could probably cross your fingers and hope for the Karius experiment to work , but with EC qualification & CL / FA Cup wins likely to be tight affairs , every goal is going to be vital.

Karius is an absolute disaster. Mignolet is bad but he at least is capable of making several good saves a game (although in some games he goes completely to shit and can't save anything, e.g. the Arsenal game recently). I've never seen Karius make more than 1 decent stop in any game he's played for us. 

Bottom line is neither 'keeper is good enough, nor is the goal keeping coach.

Hope Jurgen fixes the goal keeping department sooner rather than later as it's a major problem and is undoing the great work of our attack by costing  us goals and points.

Replace him. Mig is a nice guy and is capable of playing for a lower end Premiership team where he may perform better under less scrutiny. We need better and he needs a lesser club. I think it's the right move for both parties.
