Mignolet

BCM;

Are we talking about the goal where we decide Hendo is the best person to take on their tallest centre-back & Lovren  decides to ignore his man once the ball has gone over his head ?

Im talking about Mignolet not Henderson or Lovren.

Watch the goal again. He comes for a cross and his thought process isnt quick enough. He should have backed out of coming earlier or took everything.

What he did was neither he stopped a yard short of the striker and was basically standing next to his own post leaving the goal wide open.

Im not blaming him for every goal, but after the howler against Ludogorets its not helping peoples opinion of him.

No in that scenario as a goalkeeper you stay on the line so if someone gets a touch on the ball at least you have a chance of saving it. If he was off his line there the player would've headed in to an open net.

Is it really that hard to grasp?

Even though he stayed  on his line but they still scored? Any ball crossed into the 6 yard box he should be coming for.

Is he?

By the age of 26 Reina had three golden gloves.

By age 30 he was written off.

Reina was the best keeper we've had since Clemence at his peak.

Mignolet as long as there's a hole in his arse won't ever get near that level.

Re

Reina at his best was definitely better than Mignolet is now.  Reina better than Bruce?  Not sure.  And Clemence at his peak was fucking awesome.  For years.

I watched his interview after the game, he looked shell shocked, couldn't seem to answer any of the questions, you can tell his confidence in gone, he just stared into space like he'd just been told his Liverpool Football contract had been taken hostage by Isis Islamic terrorists, powerless.
