If he's not fit, it's on him. Sounds like he hasn't kept himself fit like he claimed. The PL is obviously quite a few steps up from the under 23s but he should still be fit and ready to go. Perhaps the lack of quality he plays against in training hasn't helped matters but if that's the case then there's all the proof you need that he's not up to it here mentally or physically.

I don't think it is at all unreasonable to expect a replacement for Sakho to be found once Klopp decided he didn't want to play him.

You rather stick a 20million price on him and then let him run down his contract ? thats shrewd business and exactly something liverpool would do. 

 

There were plenty of buyers but none that would pay a price higher then what we payed and who was frozen out of the team completely.

2m loan fee and covering 100k wages is not too shabby. We'll get between 15m-20m at the end of the season. Not bad for a 6th choice centre back.
