World Cup 2014

Really looking forward to it simply because it means plenty of footy on over the summer and before you know it, the transfer market is open and it's almost pre-season. A South American tournament should be pretty special too.

I want England to do well for our lads. Even though I don't give two hoots about England, I'm sure they do and doing well in the tournament benefits them and us.

Just watched the convocation for the Brazil squad. There had been some speculation that Coutinho would be a surprise call but he wasn't, although Oscar was - how long has he been dropped by Mourinho? Pity for Coutinho, although he hasn't been all that great this season - would have nice to have someoneon the Brazil squad.

Lack of Lucas is a surprise only for someone who has no clue at all, like Tim Sherwood or Chevy Chase, been clear since day one he won't be in the squad, 785 better players is his position. Shame for Phil but it's typical Scolari - he has his favourites and goes with trusted players, still plenty of time for our Cou.

Even though i will be supporting them I think England will be home after 3 matches. Think Italy might win it but would like to see Uruguay or Chile.

Unbelievable! Have you forgotten than the formidable Roy Hodgson is the England manager? Hodgson's methods have translated from Halmstads to Malmo to Orebo to Neuchatel Xamax to the Swiss National team. He will piss the World Cup.
