Other than the corecct mix for concrete against sand, I'm at a pains to think of somehting I'd ask a geordies opinion on....Well, that and who is the better between Biker Grove and Jossie's Giants, of course.

 

He's spot on about Hodgson's natural caution. He's spot on about Hodgson's lack of motivational powers. He's spot on about Hodgson playing Rooney out of position. And he's spot on when he says Hodgson will direct the blame for failure away from himself. It's what Hodgson does - as evidenced by his time here.

For me and don't me wrong here I'm no fan of Roy Hodgson - tonight was not purely down to Hodgson. Though I'll give you one thing - Rooney is played well out of position, his position should be on the bench, not on the park.

 

Looking at tonight and what players he has at his disposal - Whether Hodgson is here or not, come 2 years time, England, considering the squads general age of key player, will go into the next European Championship as a heavy favourite.
