The first ISS on the N64 was amazing. The previous SNES versions were great for the time but that game was incredible. The way you got overlapping full backs and the way you could swerve the ball using the Z button was incredible.

 

I loved that game. I completed a couple of World Cleagues were you play against everytbody. 92 games or something. I came 2nd one season, I was well annoyed. I think I won it with Turkey once on 5* and they were the worst side in the game.

 

The commentary was terrible: "and GREECE have won the game and GREECE will play in the World Cup Final".

 

Still, happy days. The ISS64 2 with the World Cup 98 teams was ace aswell.
