I know it may be tempting for him and Linda to fly in to take in one or two of the remaining games, but we've struggled in the last few he's attended, so I'd like him to do the decent thing and stay away.

Sorry John. Sorry Linda. It's for the greater good.

He'll be right there on the pitch next to the trophy if we win the league. Be sure of that.

He'll deserve to be.  At the very least he (FSG) hired Rodgers, which looks an inspired choice.

I don't think it's weird when owners receive trophies. They manage the club on a bigger scale. They sacked Hodgson and got Kenny in to stop us falling into the abyss. They got Rodgers in to try and improve us. They rubber stamp all the transfer deals. All major parts to getting us to where we are now.

Does he fuck.

Since when do we have owners on the pitch? He can stay in the boardroom getting pissed on champagne, he can even take Linda in the dressing room and offer all the boys a go as a reward but he stays the fuck away from the pitch.

I dont think there was a point to purchasing LFC, other than returning us to greatness.

You dont buy the worlds most successful hisorically epic, iconic club, and put it on a shelf. Sooner or later, it ISNT that club anymore- its history fades and disappears.

They saw us sitting neatly with the Red Socks - a complete revival.

The General manager runs the team (in most cases). They deal with trades, draft picks, contract extension and getting under the salary cap. The coach is just the coach. Itsca little different in some cases and some have more input than others.

Its like having a director of football and a coach.
