Hi all,

I am not sure if this is the right platform to seek advice however here goes.

My father in Law was a massive red and collected numerous trophies, medals, signed shirts etc however he recently passed away and his widow is looking to sell them as they carry to many memories.

Can anyone advise who i am best contacting as i believe some of the memorabilia has considerable value however as i am not a massive fan i am u sure :-(.

Hope someone can advise.

Thanks

Sorry to hear about your Father in Law

I've seen and found a lot of unscrupulous individuals in for a quick buck in this market. I'd advise either approach a reputable auction house or probably quicker and a cheaper a well thought out eBay listing in the correct category, and don't end the listing early. I collect match shirts and have seen people end them early for £60 when it'd have got to £350-400 had they left it going.

Or if there's some really special pieces offer them to the museum at Anfield, can't think of a better way of remembering him.
